Service temperature: (-30˚C) – (+60˚C)
Reaction to fire: Class A1
Depends on + 23 ± 2°C temperature and 50 ± 5% relative humidity conditions.

Surface Preparation

  • The application surface must be cleared of moulding oil, dust, paint, dirt, detergent etc. which prevents adhesion.
  • Surface defects must be repaired with a suitable Davco Repair Mortar prior to the application depending on the surface and defect.
  • Absorbent surfaces must be primed with Lanko 160 and double coat of primer must be applied on the surfaces with high absorption.
  • In case of a high surface temperature, it must be reduced by way of dampening.

Mixing

  • Suitable amount of clean water is poured in a clean mixing container. Bond Granite is slowly added in the water and such mixture must be mixed until a homogenous mixture is obtained (for 3-5 minutes) with a mixer having 400-500 cycle/minute.
  • The prepared material is matured for 3 minutes and mixed for further 1-2 minutes.
  • The mixed mortar is available for use.

Application Methods

  • The mortar must be applied to the surface with pressure in order to ensure good adhesion and the surface is dredged with the help of a steel notched spud selecting on the basis of the dimension of the material to be coated.
  • Combined method (both on the surface and under the coating) must be preferred for 20x20 cm and larger coatings, any areas with intensive pedestrian traffic and any surfaces to be exposed to atmospheric conditions.
  • Surface adhesion process on the dredged mortar must be completed within not later than 20 minutes.
  • High temperature, low moisture, strong wind etc. may reduce this time period.
  • Expired mortar must be scraped from the surface and dredging process must be repeated and then the coating material must be adhered.
  • The coating material must be applied to the surface with cross movements and the air between the surface and coating must be discharged by way of slight impacts with a plastic knob to achieve smooth adhesion.
  • The mortar must be consumed within not later than 3 hours. Expired or crusted mortars must not be used.
  • The product must not be applied under direct sunlight and when the surface and air temperature is lower than +5 °C and higher than +35 °C.
